Send the Gospel to the Ends of the Earth Without Leaving Home
Operation Christmas Child is the perfect holiday mission project for you, your family, your Growth Group, school, or business as it focuses on the true meaning of Christmas—God's greatest gift, Jesus Christ.
Since its beginning in 1993, more than 113 million children have been impacted in over 100 countries through Operation Christmas Child, a project of Samaritan’s Purse, the international Christian relief organization led by Franklin Graham. Operation Christmas Child ministers to children in dozens of countries, including Panama, Afghanistan, Cambodia, India, Jordan, Lebanon, Russia, and South Africa by distributing shoeboxes filled with toys, personal hygiene items, and other small gifts, bringing happiness to boys and girls who otherwise would not receive any presents. The gifts also open doors for presenting the Good News of Jesus Christ through children’s literature, personal witnessing, and evangelistic programs. This year, Samaritan's Purse hopes to collect enough shoebox gifts to reach another 10 million children.
Each year Bethesda Baptist & Bethesda Christian Academy helps bless children through Operation Christmas Child. Our church family packs shoeboxes that bring happiness and a Gospel message to boys and girls worldwide! Pick up your shoebox at the welcome center to get packing today! Boxes are due back by November 16th.
